Sing the Song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vc2aSz9Ficw.... RV'ing in the US - 3 of us going on a road trip next year. We are thinkin about hiring an RV, and were wondering if you're allowed or if it's legal to park up your RV anywhere (out side of the city obviously) for the night? Or does it have to be in designated resorts or parks. We'll be travelling through the states of CALIFORNIA, NEVADA, ARIZONA, UTAH, COLORADO, and possibly NEW MEXICO? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you..... Buying electronics: Hong Kong or Beijing? - I'll be in Hong-Kong and China in April and I have one q for you, experts. I'd like to know where is cheaper to buy stuff like: dvd-players, digital cameras, computer components, etc.
I need to know quite soon so thanks a lot in advance for a prompt response!
Art.... Three days in Hong Kong - I am going to Taiwan next month and as I love everything about Asia, I decided to do a stop-over in Hong Kong for few days.
I will probably fly in from London on March 8 and go on to Taiwan on March 11. What is the weather like in Hong Kong during this period? I suppose it will be already warm but not very hot.
Anyway, I still don't know how many days I will spend there. I am thinking about 3 full days. I already decided to explore the main island and Kowloon and see some nature on Lantau.
However, what else to do? I thought about going to Macau (as it's quite close) or Shenzhen or both, but I think I wouldn't be able to see all this in just 3 days, right?
So, what would you recommend? I heard you can do cheap shopping in Shenzhen, but are there some interesting places in that city? I mean .... Make Hong Kong your base - my advice would be to focus on Hong Kong, it's by far the nicest and most interesting city in the area.
Shenzhen I would give miss completely. Not even sure it's particularly safe.
Macau is ok, but the most interesting thing is the casinos, so go for a late afternoon stroll round the old town, and then find yourself a nice Casino and gamble your return flight away!
:D.... HK / Asia - am flying to Hong Kong and on 19th December 09, for xmas we are in Thailand and then i am back to Hong Kong for New Year, post new year I have 5 days to do some travelling on my own, any suggestions of that part of asia that would be good to go to for that short amount of time

cities of China, such as Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Guilin, Datong, Taiyuan, Pingyao, Chengde,
Tianjin,Suzhou, Hangzhou
My favorite city is Hangzhou. The city is tidy, peaceful and clean. It is pleasant to walk along the
West Lake with your family in the gental wind. It is July when i travel Hangzhou. It is pretty hot and
wet after rain. The other reason to travel Hangzhou is there is no admission fee for most Museum.

Cheapest and best shopping possibilities in Asia. - Hey everybody,
since I am an absolute "Asia-fan", I was wondering where would be the best place to go for a shopping trip.
Where are the nicest stores? Where can you get the best bargains? Where will you find the best tailors?
Tell me, what you think!.... The bus trip to the famous Chocolate Hills - Third and last full day in Bohol! To see the Chocolate Hills is a frigging must!
When we first arrived, we intended to drive to Carmen so we can see the famous Chocolate Hills! But as always, our stomachs came first and it'll be too late to travel by the time we finished.
The town of Carmen was a whopping 59km from Tagbilaran and one hell of a long bus ride! We were thinking of riding a V-hire to get there but Rob and I went for the rural form of traveling, by bus. We were advised to leave early in the morning because the journey to and from the town will take half the day. From Carlos P Garcia Ave. (CPG), we hopped on a tricycle and directed the driver to go to the Dao Bus Terminal. When we got there, we asked someone for the bus to Carmen, and I bet you, they'll drag you to where it is!
The bus trip was excruciating! Aside from our seats not having a proper cushion, as the bus passed from one town to the next, it got more crowded! The bus was literally jam-packed halfway thru the ... Mid Price, high value Singapore Hotels - Hey all,
